Not what I expected but an amazing read! I thought it would be scientific and technical but it’s more of an auto-biography. It’s unbelievable that NASA astronaut Scott Kelly was a terrible high school student, applied to the wrong college, and was not motivated until reading Tom Wolfe’s βThe Right Stuffβ. Through dedication, persistence and an unfaltering drive to fly the most complex aircrafts in the world (nasa space shuttle), Scott has become one of the leading voices for NASA, space exploration, and the international space community. Not to mention that his year in space with a twin on the ground will be some of the leading research needed to get us to Mars.Β This book probably won’t change your life but it will give you insights into the relentless dedication needed to accomplish difficult things. Thanks @astro_kelly, if you write anything else, I’ll be here to read it.
learn or die.
